Nachivayal sandal forest
Marayoor, located forty km from Munnar, is a rain shadow village lying in the eastern side of the Western Ghats and is bordered by the neighbouring state Tamil Nadu. Marayoor is the only place in Kerala with a natural growth of sandalwood trees.
Bramaram shooting point
Kanthaloor is famous for its wide variety of crops which are not seen in the other parts of kerala. It is the only place in South India where apples are grown.
Anakottapara park
The Muniyara Dolmens are magnificent prehistoric dolmens, situated in Marayoor, approximately 55 kms from Munnar. Belongs to the Neolithic Age, these aboveground burial chambers are built with large stone slabs and are called ‘megaliths.’ The historians keep special interest in these granite slabs as they are more than thousand years old.
Irachipara water falls
Irachil Para waterfalls is located at Kovilkadavu, on the way to Kanthalloor from Marayoor in Idukki district of Kerala. Water dropping from a height of about 300 meters without much force. It will gives you the same experience of getting a good rain shower. The whole scene resembles a movie set. It is located upstream of Thoovanam falls. The fresh natural vibe present makes your mind relaxed.
Perumala fruits garden
The pome fruits grow mainly in Perumala, Kulachivayal, Keezhanthur and Puthoor in Kanthalloor panchayats. The villages are blossomed for apples

Thenpara, which the English adoringly called ‘Honey Rock’, stands tall in the mountain ranges of the Western Ghats.
